What is Southern Cross Easy Claim?

A facility that lets us claim eligible expenses directly from Southern Cross on your behalf, rather than you paying upfront and claiming reimbursement afterwards.

Do I need approval before minor surgery?

Yes. Removal of a suspicious skin lesion needs prior approval from Southern Cross before the procedure goes ahead, so it's worth checking with reception first.

What if my treatment isn't covered by Easy Claim?

You'll pay for your appointment in the usual way and can claim reimbursement from Southern Cross yourself afterwards, in line with your policy.
