Approved provider for

Dr Lobo has completed the National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers training programme and is an Authorised Health Professional for safety-critical workers, also known as a Rail Medical Officer.

Every assessment is tailored to the role, but typically includes:

Employment medical appointments run on their own schedule, separate from general practice hours: Monday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am–6pm, Tuesday 8.30am–7pm, Wednesday 8.30am–2pm.

How long does an employment medical take?

Most assessments are completed in a single appointment, tailored to the role and its requirements.

How soon will we get the results?

A written report is emailed within the hour.

Do you handle rail and infrastructure medicals?

Yes. Dr Lobo is an Authorised Health Professional for rail safety workers, also known as a Rail Medical Officer, and is an approved provider for KiwiRail, City Rail Link, Link Alliance and Ghella Abergeldie.

Is drug and alcohol testing included?

It's included as part of the assessment where required.

What are your hours for employment medicals?

Employment medical appointments run on their own schedule: Monday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am to 6pm, Tuesday 8.30am to 7pm, Wednesday 8.30am to 2pm.

What happens if something unexpected is found?

You'll get an instant referral to a medical specialist, with any unrecognised medical conditions managed from there.
