Gavin Lobo Health exists to enhance the health of our patients, through primary, comprehensive, continuous, confidential and holistic care. It's a simple idea that gets harder to deliver at scale, which is why the practice has deliberately stayed small.
Continuing what Dr Campbell started.
Dr Dean Campbell founded the practice over 35 years ago. Dr Gavin Lobo took over in February 2016, bringing more than 20 years of general practice experience across Auckland, and has continued the same family orientated approach ever since.

Dr Gavin Lobo
General Practitioner
Born in Kent, England, Dr Lobo trained in medicine at King's College London before moving to New Zealand, working across Auckland's public hospital system in general medicine and obstetrics before entering general practice. He holds a Diploma in Cosmetic Medicine, a Diploma in Dermoscopy, and is a trained Rail Medical Officer providing employment medicals for KiwiRail and Link Alliance.
Mandi Lobo
Registered Nurse, NCNZ
Mandi graduated as a Registered Nurse in 2016, spending her first year in Haematology and General Medicine at Middlemore Hospital before joining Gavin Lobo Health in 2017. She has special interests in mental health and addiction, cosmetic medicine, and occupational health.
Emily
Medical Receptionist
Originally from Kent, England, Emily has lived in New Zealand since 1999 and worked in healthcare since she was 18. She's been the friendly face greeting patients at Gavin Lobo Health since 2019.

How we work with you
A few things worth knowing before your first visit, so appointments run smoothly for you and everyone else on the day.
Book an AppointmentHow long is an appointment?
A standard appointment is 15 minutes. If you think you'll need longer, let Emily know when you book, extended consultations may cost more.
What happens when I call to book?
Emily will ask a few quick questions about what you need seen for. It helps us work out how much time to book, and who's best to see you.
Will I be seen on time?
We do our best to run to schedule, though emergencies and appointments that run over can sometimes cause delays. Feel free to call ahead on the day if you'd like to check how we're tracking.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
Same-day slots are kept free for children and anyone needing acute care. Give us a call and we'll fit you in where we can.
What are your appointment hours?
Dr Lobo and Mandi see patients 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 8.00am to 1.00pm on Wednesday. Call (09) 631 5305 or book through the Patient Portal.
Can I see Mandi without an appointment?
Often, yes. Mandi is best caught without a booking between 10.00am and 12.00pm, and 2.00pm and 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.
